Happy New Year 2013

To all my readers, a Happy New Year 2013! May it bring happiness, success and all your hearts' desires. I have made a few resolutions myself. But as a new blogger, I encourage you to leave me some suggestions for my blog. Tell me what you liked, disliked and would like to see me change for the new year.

I promise to accept your suggestions with an open mind and make them into resolutions myself. So have at it! Let me know what you guys think.

Here are some events that changed our lives forever and made 2012 a year we will never forget. But I will only feature the happy moments because the sad ones will make us cry.

The Mayan Calendar predicted the end of the world. Thank God it did not come to past. It would have been so sad to say goodbye just when my blog was taking off.

The US election took place and no matter who you voted for, let's all give thanks for the freedom of democracy and the right to vote.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced they were expecting. How delightful for the couple of the moment.

Oreo celebrated its 100th birthday. This cookie is just the best thing on earth isn't it.

We are saying goodbye to ox-blood and hello to Emerald Green as the color for 2013. Queue the Keira Knightley in Atonement dress knock-offs.

If I left out any other happy moments please forgive me but I was too busy admiring Keira's dress and eating Oreos.

On an ending note, here's to 2012 and auld lang syne =)

Firmoo Specs

Got great prescription specs from Firmoo. Of course, they have sunglasses, non-prescription and pretty much everything else in the glasses dept. covered.

The pair I got came with two cases, extra pieces and a screwdriver and they were titanium, pretty awesome!  Fit really well too and they got my prescription and fit right, which is a pretty big deal when buying over the internet. Check 'em out:

Now I really should tell my readers about their First Pair Free Program which supplies the first pair free of charge, with only the shipping fee to be paid.

Below is a little info from Firmoo themselves. I usually like to paraphrase but they said it perfectly.

The old opinion that glasses are only necessities for people with vision problems has already gone. Glasses are increasingly becoming a fad and must-have accessories for  celebs and fashionistas. Everyday we can spot millions of non prescription glasses wearers and we are constantly fascinated by many noted film stars’ signature non prescription glasses. They instantly upgrade your look of modern, sexy, vintage or geek by wearing different styles of frames.
Any hot glasses/sunglasses /goggles frames you want can be found on Firmoo, and all are available for both prescription lenses and non-prescription lenses.
Are you desperate to have a new look?
Now here is the chance, Firmoo has launched a First Pair Free Program to people  worldwide. You will absolutely fall in love with the excellent quality, affordable prices, fashionable designs, fast delivery and the good service after trying them with paying shipping only! You even can get a refund/exchange if you are not satisfied with them. It's totally Risk free, so why not have a try?

Here are some great sunglasses that I like from them too:

I know it was a long time ago but Lauren Bush's wedding to David Lauren was one of the most inspiring weddings with one of the most beautiful dresses ever created.

It was designed by Ralph Lauren himself and featured his signature Wild West theme. Here are some of the shots via Vogue.com
